AnSwer :-

a) When a wave travels from rarer to denser medium

reflected rays will have same frequency, wavelength, velocity and angular velocity remains same but amplitude, Intensity, phase and energy change.

Whereas transmitted wave will have same frequency, angular velocity and phase but wavelength, velocity, amplitude, intensity and energy change.

b) When a wave travels from denser to rarer medium

reflected rays will have same frequency, wavelength, velocity, phase and angular velocity remains same but amplitude, Intensity and energy change.

Answer:

Explanation:

(a) rarer to denser medium

Factors

1.  Angle of incident ray

2. Temperature of the medium

3. Density of the medium

4. Type of wave,

   - Light waves

          * colour of light

   - Sound wave

   - Heat wave, etc.

(b) denser to rarer medium

1.  Angle of incident ray

2. Temperature of the medium

3. Density of the medium

4. Type of wave,

   - Light waves

          * colour of light

   - Sound wave

   - Heat wave, etc.
