The factors responsible for the change in the natural vegetation in India are the following: 
 

The growing population has lead to a growing demand for food which in return has changed the nature of cultivated lands. 


Industrial development has increased with time which resulted in the deforestation. 


Urbanization is another reason which uses the land for the development of buildings.
