most imp factors during nutrition r 1.ingestion(through mouth),2.digestion i.e. the starch present in the food is converted to sugar.passes through oesophagus in a zig zag manner called peristaltic mov. then 3.absorbtion of food takes place in small intestineby villi 4.assimilationi.e. obtaining of energy from food n 5. is egestion ven all the waste or undigested food is excreted out of body.
