Wave-theory states that energy is proportionate to amplitude but by experiment we can observe that energy by light which is given to electron is not proportionate to its amplitude (intensity).

Wave-theory gives the concept of wave-front assuming its true we should have observed that with wave-front many electrons should come out together but this does not happen ion the experiment.

According to wave-theory there should be a time lag between radiation and ejection of electron due to energy given by wave-fronts but in our experiment there is no time lag.
