What are the favourable qualities given to gold when it is alloyed with copper or silvet for the purpose of making ornaments

We cannot make ornaments with pure gold as it is too much soft ... Thus , addition of copper or silver makes the gold ductile and hard enough for making ornaments...

For extra info : You won't find 24 carat gold jewelry in any shop because 24 carat is purest form of gold....

- strength
- stability
- shine
- it is alloyed with copper as it is soft and flexible
- after design the gold ornaments it becomes hard and durable
