Decidious forests are of two type:dry decidious and moist decidious
•Most decidious-
1•These forests are found in the areas of 100to 200 cm of rainfall.
2•due to longer dry season,the trees in these forest are decidious i.e.they she'd their leaves during dry season.
3•Shisham, sandalwood,teak,sal are the common trees found in these Forests.
•Dry decidious-
1•These are found in the areas having rainfall between 70to100 cm
2•These are found in the Rainer parts of peninsula plateau and the plains of Bihar and up
3•Teak, sal, peepal and neem are the important trees
4•Most of these Forests have been cleared for cultivation and grazing
