The features of national income are as follows:
1. It is an outcome of macroeconomic analysis( considering the performance of the entire economy as a whole).
2. It is associated with the revenue generated from the total production of final goods and services in a country in a given year.
3. Depreciation while production is deducted from the national income.
4. Any sort of transport expenses, indirect taxes are not taken into account whereas subsidies are added.
5. It is a net aggregate value that includes any sort of income from other countries as well.
