Hey Friend,

Question:
What are the final products formed after digestion of carbohydrates, proteins and fats ?

Solution:

Digestion: it is the  process of breakdown of complex substances into simpler substances.

Digestion is a complex process which starts from mouth by the action of enzyme salivary amylase.

Which is followed in the stomach by the enzyme pepsin which digests protein.

Digestion is finally completed in the small intestine by enzymes trypsin and lipase.

The small intestine then produces enzymes called lactase, sucrase and maltase, which break down the disaccharides into monosaccharides.

They convert the proteins into amino acids, carbohydrates into glucose and fats into fatty acids and glycerol. which are simple absorb able forms

Answer:

These enzymes include proteases to break down proteins, lipases that digest fats and more amylase to finish splitting carbohydrates. Fats are broken down into fatty acids and glycerol, proteins into peptides and amino acids, and carbohydrates become simple sugars such as glucose and fructose
