What are the first and second line of defence of plants against pathogens?

First line of defense is:- Skin, tears, saliva and sweat. These act as a barrier to the entry of pathogens or any other foreign particles.

Second line of defense is:- White blood cells such as macrophages and neutrophils. There role is to recognize the foreign particles like pathogen and stimulate other lymphocytes for action.

The first line of defense against infection are the surface barriers that prevent the entry of pathogens into the body. The second line of defense are the non-specific phagocytes and other internal mechanisms that comprise innate immunity.
