What are the five differences between pure substance and mixtures.

pure means nothing is mixed in that like chemicals out anything !!!
ex , we say that it's milk !!!

mixture means in that something is mixed ex : air .
in air many gases are present !!!!

Pure substance:
It has a uniform or definite set of properties.
It has a uniform composition throughout.
It consists of only one component.
They cannot be separated by physical methods.
Eg. Pure water.

Mixture:
It does not have a definite set of properties.
It has a non- uniform composition.
It consists of two or more component.
They can be separated by physical methods.
