i) Meditation activities - mediation is an activity undertaken by a country or an organization or individual to help resolve a problem.

ii) Peacekeeping activities - to nonviolently stop the the warring countries from fighting and help them observe the case-fire agreement reached between them.

iii) Permitting some member countries to forcibly intervene in a troubled area and restore peace in an area.

iv) Disarmament activities - aimed at reducing or totally prohibiting tools of war like landmines, chemical weapons etc.
