• Skimming : This type of reading includes very quick movements of eye,in order to quickly get a basic overview of the whole reading content. The skimming is basically targeted towards finding specific necessary contents without the reading the whole content.

• Intensive : The intensive reading is a type of reading where the reader reads a text in a detailed manner for learning something.
Example - Reading digital blogs or reading news articles.
• Extensive : The extensive reading is a type of reading where the reader reads something for general enjoyment purpose.
