The Human nerve cells perform lots of function, some are :

  • Nerve cell transfers and receives messages from brain to body.

  • Nerve cells helping to control and coordination the working off different parts of our body.

  • Cytoplasm : is the jelly like substance present between the cell membrane and the nucleus. It contains various other components or organelles of cell. They are Golgi bodies, ribosomes, etc.

  • Nucleus : is an important component of living cells. It is generally spherical and located in the centre of the cells.It is separated from the cytoplasm by a membrane which is called as nuclear membrane.
