Pancreas is a endocrine gland which produces important harmones like insulin, somatostatin, glucagon and pancreatic polypeptide.These harmones circulate in the blood.Pancrea is also a digestive organ which can secret pancreatic juice which contain digestive enzymes that helps in digestion and absorption of nutrients in small intestine.
