1. Parenchyma: photosynthesis, storage of food, buoyancy etc.,
2. Collenchyma: Mechanical support
3. Sclerenchyma: Mechanical support
4. Xylem: Conduction of water and mechanical support
5. Phloem: Translocation of solutes (food materials)
