The following epidermal cells are found in plants

(i) Cuticle:

They decrease surface transpiration.

(ii) Stomata:

Transfer of gases and transpiration.

(iii) Stem hair:

For decreasing temperature changes and the speed of transpiration.

(iv) Glandular hair:

Different secretions.

(v) Prickles:

Guard against: grazing animals.
