Bile Juice- It is a greenish that is biliverdin and yellow that is bilirubin colour alkaline fluid secreted by duodenum.

Functions of Bile juice are as follows

Neutralization of hydrochloric acid or generally HCl.

•Emulsification of fat in which large fat globules break into small fat globules.

•Bile contains no enzyme but it activates the enzyme lipase.

•Bile is alkaline and hence it prevents the decomposition of food preventing the growth of bacteria on it.

•Bile juice increases peristalsis of the intestine.
