what are the functions of cartilage

Cartilage it a fibrous connective tissue, it has soft matrix, made up of chondriocytes, it is found in ear pinna , trachea , ribs etc.

Basically it's function is to attach two body parts together like the bone but the only difference is of the matrix and the tissue made up of Bone is made of Osteocytes and has Hard matrix where else Cartilage is made up Chondriocytes and has soft matrix.
