Liver is the largest gland in human body which secretes bile. Bile helps in converting large fat globules into smaller ones and increases the enzyme action. Excess of glucose is stored as glycogen in the liver.

1) Bile production and excretion.
2) Excretion of bilirubin hormones and drugs.
3) Metabolism of fats protiens and carbohydrates.
