What are the functions of liver and pancreas in HDS.

1) Liver- The liver has many functions , but it's main function within the digestive system is to process the nutrients absorbed from the small intestine. Bile from the liver secreted into small intestine also plays an inportant role in digesting fats.

2) Pancreas- The pancreas is an organ located in the abdomen. It plays an essential role in converting the food we eat into fuel for body's cells. It helps in digestion and also regulates blood sugar.

Answer : we know that the liver is organ of human body and the liver work together with other organs to digest, absorb, and process food.

The liver's main job is to filter the blood coming from the digestive tract, before passing it to the rest of the body.

The liver also detoxifies chemicals and metabolizes drugs.

=>Bile production and excretion.

=>Excretion of bilirubin, cholesterol, hormones, and drugs.

=>Metabolism of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates.

=>Enzyme activation.

=>Storage of glycogen, vitamins, and minerals.

=>Synthesis of plasma proteins, such as albumin, and clotting factors.
