cerebrum is the thinking part of brain its responsible fr learning, reasoning, intelligence personality and memory.it controls our thougts sensations actions and movements

The hypothalamus produces hormones that control the production of hormones in the pituitary gland. These two parts of the body work together to tell the other endocrine glands when it is time to release the hormones they are designed to make. Because of this, hypothalamus function is directly related to overall hormone health. If the hypothalamus is damaged due to traumatic brain injury or genetic factors, overall hormonal health will suffer.

The function of the thalamus is to regulate the body's voluntary motor control, consciousness and its sleep/wake cycle. It also regulates the senses of sight, sound, taste, touch and the sense of where the person's body is in space. The thalamus decides which signals from the ears, eyes, mouth and skin to relay to its area in the cerebral cortex. The thalamus doesn't relay information about the sense of smell

pons help in regulating respiration

spinal cord is concerned with spinal reflextions and conduction of nerve impulses from and to the brain
hope it helps :) ;)
