gases are compressible as their molecules are very far and so with increased pressure and decreased temperature it can be compressed.

Gases have more intermolecular space that is the space between two atoms.
while liquid has less space intermolecular space than gases.
Gases can be compressed easily by applying high pressure and low temperature.
