(i) Once someone has disease, their body functions are altered and may never recover completely.

(ii) The treatment will take time, which means that someone suffering from a disease is likely to be bedridden even if proper treatment is given.

(iii) The person suffering from an infectious disease can , serve as the medium for further spread of infection to other people for a very long time.
