Answer:

Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) and halons destroy the earth's protective ozone layer, which shields the earth from harmful ultraviolet (UV-B) rays generated from the sun. CFCs and HCFCs also warm the lower atmosphere of the earth, changing global climate.

Answer:

Good effects: CFCs act to trap heat in the lower atmosphere, causing the earth to warm and climate and weather to change.

bad effects: damages the ozone layer from which the UV rays from the sun enter. This causes a lot of problems like forest fire, skin cancer and cataract in human beings, increase in the level of smog etc.

Hope this helps you
