Gases that trap heat in the atmosphere are called greenhouse gases. The main greenhouse gases include carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, water vapor, ozone and some artificial chemicals such as chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs). The greenhouse effect is natural process that warms the Earth's surface.

Their are many gases in our atmosphere like Carbondioxide, CFCs, Methane and nitrogen monoxide which pollute the environment, these gases are popularly known as green house gases.

Effects of Greenhouse gases:-
1)They are very much harmful for humans they result in respiratory problems in humans.
2)They increase the earths temperature. This results in melting of polar ice caps.
