Deforestation :

  • The cutting down of forests in a large scale is named as deforestation.

Some harmful effects of deforestation :

Soil erosion :

  • Plants in the forests holds up the soil. Where, the cutting down of tress are increasing day-to-day in a large scale.
  • Therefore, this leads to soil erosion.

Climate Imbalance :

  • We all know that, Plants takes Carbon-di-oxide. Whereas, these forests are being cut down which will lead to increasing amount of carbon emitted by the vehicles, burning of fossils & fuel etc.
  • And ultimately the environment will be effected by the continuous deforestation.

Wildlife extinction & habitat loss :

  • Loss of trees due to deforestation are seizing the livelihood of wildlife. Some decline just because of not get feed.
  • Within last 25 years almost 70% of species are getting extinct just because of deforestation and losing their habitant.
