noise from any source that causes disturbance or discomfort of any kind in the environment is called noise pollution.

Harmful effects of Noise Pollution:-

1. it causes nervous tension, irritation, earache, headache and high blood pressure.

2. it may causes lack of concentration in work or studies.

3. loud music during night disturbs our sleep.

4. prolonged exposure to high level noise can affect the eardrum and may lead to temporary or even permanent loss of hearing.

The Harmful effects of noise pollution are...

1.lack of concentration:- as we know that concentration is needed to produce quality in work . noise from traffic , horns etc. cause disturbance leading to lack of concentration.

2. Blood pressure:- Noise pollution effects a person's peace of mind adversely. it addds to the existing tension of modern living. These tension result in diseases like high blood pressure, or short-temperedness.

3. Fatigue:- noise pollution distract people and reduce concentration. Thus they have to spread more time to complete the work. this lead to tiredness and fatigue.

4.deafness:- the effects of noise pollution on audibility is well known. it often cause temporary or permanent deafness in people who works in noisy places. some such example are machine ,drivers ,telephone operator. etc.
