Harmful effects of oxidation are because of two physical changes, that we see in our daily life-
1. Corrosion:- It is a process where metal especially Iron is gradually eaten and converted to rust. It damages useful iron articles and equipments.
2. Rancidity- It is a process in which Fatty oily substances such as chips, when are exposed in air for a long time, they get spoiled and gives bad odour and taste. It spoils oily and Fatty foods.
