Answer:

Respiratory diseases like asthma, bronchitis etc., are very common among these workers. It is because they inhale small hair while sorting and scouring.

Answer:

  • There is a disease of sheep and other animals called Anthrax which is caused by a bacterium of the same name. The people who are at high risk of getting anthrax are wool sorters and shearers. This is the reason anthrax is also known as sorter's disease. If a human gets anthrax, they get dark pimple-like boils on their skin which can lead to skin, intestinal, lung, or a fatal blood infection.
  • Allergies, eye irritation and skin infections are caused by the chemicals and dyes used in the processing of wool fibres to workers.
  • When fine wool fibres suspended in the air are inhaled, they can cause respiratory diseases

Hope this helps!!!!!!!!!
