To identify Concave mirror,the bent in surface is reflecting surface

To identify Convex mirrors ,the bulges out surface is reflecting surface

by observing formed by the mirror is of same size as that of object for different positions of object,its nature can be identified.


1-if the image formed by the mirror is of same size as that of object for different positions of object,then the mirror is a plane mirror.
2-if the image formed by the mirror is deminished for all positions of object,then the mirror is convex mirror.
3-if the image formed behind the mirror is longer than the object,then the mirror is concave mirror.
