☛ The pressure due to atmosphere is really very large is can be understand by the following illustrations:
☛ When small quantity of water is boiled in a tin can the water is converted into steam .The air inside the tin can is get removed by the steam . The opening of the can is closed .
☛ Now, if the can is placed under the tap water ,the steam inside can condenses .Due to the lack of air inside the can, the can become squeezed find compressed due to the atmospheric pressure .
☛ The blood remains in our nerves due to the Atmospheric pressure .
☛ When air from a smooth empty plastic bottle is sucked, the bottle get compressed due to the atmospheric pressure

ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE:
It is the force exerted on a surface by the air above it as gravity pulls it to Earth. Atmospheric pressure is commonly measured with a barometer.
======
ILLUSTRATIONS:
➡ If a stack of pile of bricks, each brick has to support all the bricks above it. So as we go down the stack force increases as does the pressure.
➡ In this example shown the force on the face of the bottom brick would be 6mg and the pressure = 6mg/A.
➡ At the earths surface we are supporting a column of air which exerts a force and because it is a gas it exerts an equal pressure in all directions.
