Sufis were muslim mystics. they rejected outward religiosity and gave emphasis on love and devotion to god.they believed that the heart could be trained to look at the world in a different way.they practised sama,contemplation,raqs,breath control etc..this was done under a master called pir
bhakti was very essential.it was also adopted by kabir. it means devotion to the god.
