• Sanitation Problems- If there is a shortage of clean water, other problems would arise like cleaning utensils, washrooms, etc. This would mean compromising health and hygiene.
  
• Hunger issue- Another important effect or impact of water scarcity is people going hungry. Without clean water, it will become impossible to cook food. This will lead to hunger, which leads to poverty.
