what are the importance of latitudes ???

Ankan: They help in determining the climate. For eg, 0 - 23.5 degrees N & S is the Torrid Zone, 23.5 - 66.5 degrees N & S is the Temperate Zone and 66.5 - 90 degrees N & S

Latitude are able to pinpoint a certain location on earth accurately on a map.
