Answer:

  1. pH plays a very important role in our everyday life. 1. In our digestive system :Hydrochloric acid produced in our stomach helps the digestion of food without causing any harm to the stomach. But when the amount of the acid goes beyond a certain limit due to indigestion, pain and irritation are created in the stomach.

  • In stomach

Hydrochloric acid produces in our stomach. with the help of this the protein enzymes are active. so the conculision is that the pH of stomach must be acidic.

  • In buccal cavity

when we eat some sugary subs. .the bacteria degrade these substances and cause the corrosion of tooth enamel made up of calcium phosphate. to prevent this, use basic tooth paste

  • In soil

Our body works within the pH range of 7.0 to 7.8. Living organisms can survive only in a narrow range of pH change. When pH of rainwater is less than 5.6, it is called acid rain. When acid rain flows into the rivers, it lowers the pH of the river water. The survival of aquatic life in such rivers becomes difficult.

hope this helps you
