Important of photosynthesis:

1. it is the most important biological process on which only we organisms depends, directly or indirectly, for food.

2. The process maintain the balance of a carbon dioxide and oxygen in the environment.

3. It provide oxygen for breathing'.

Note:

photosynthesis takes place mostly in the Green leaves of plant but in some plant like cactus , it takes place in the Green fleshy steem , as the leaves are reduced spines to reduce loss of water by transportation.
