The Allotropes of Sulphur. yellow rhombic sulphur (α-sulphur) and the monoclinic (β-sulphur).The most interesting feature is their thermal stability, the allotropes of sulphur are inter-convertible i.e. rhombic sulphurwhen heated above 369K gives monoclinic sulphur.
