You have some good answers. I would agree that it is the cell membrane which is most important to the life of the cell, but the membrane isn’t an organelle. I think the question leads to thinking that reveals a weakness in the theory of evolution, called the “irreduciblity” problem. Beyond a certain level of simplicity, the cell can’t function at all, so how did it develop in the first place? Flagella are often used as an example because there are no flagella or cilia with less than a certain number of paired actin fibers. A working flagellum is either there, or its not, no intermediaries. So its really not possible to say which organelle is most important because loss of the membrane, OR the ribosomes, OR the mitochondria (also only in eukaryotes) leads to cell death. Kinda like asking which is more important, your heart, lungs, liver kidneys or brain. You can’t live without all of them
