What are the indicators used by undp for measuring development?

UNDP in its human development report , compares the measures of the level of different countries , not only on income factor but also on other factors as well .

The indicators used by UNDP are:-

-Average income or per capita income

-Literacy rate

-Infant mortality rate

-Education

-Health

-life expectancy rate

-HDI rank.


In the other hand, World Bank only uses

-average income or per capita income

-rich country (per capita income RS 453000 and above in 2004)

-poor country (per capita income RS 37000 or less in 2004)
