1)Not the politicians, but people are corrupted. There is alot of vagueness among the people about whom to elect and why should we elect. I heard of a friend of mine telling that he will cast his vote only to a particular party as it gave his father a hike in his salary. To such people, the corruption which that party did and that single good work only would account into existance. And yes, people have become selfish. One think of his own caste member to win the elections and thinks only of his mutual benefit keeping away others. This is what is happening in the present society.
2) Environment in which children are growing. Many of us use this sentence to encourage our kids but never try to be active in that context. ‘Todays children are tomorrow's citizens’. Our society is not giving proper guidance to the child and as a result he is getting misguided from the early childhood. Sex education has become a ‘beep’ education. And thus schools are laying foundation for him to witness a change of throwing him towards porn and eve-teasing. If we want to witness a developed nation the change must come from nurturing a child in which he is taught values and not descrimination. He must be taught life not luxuries.
3)More development schemes and less benefits. There are tons of schemes which every government starts when it comes into power. Every scheme is with the sole objective of empowerment, developement. So far, India underwent 16general elections and still everything is at snails pace. My grandpa still leaves his footwear and bows down when he pass through the streets of higher caste. We boast as the emerging economy. Every thing is for the country but not for its people?!?
3)Quality of Education. The quality of Indian education is getting detoriated day after day. We are now witnessing an era in which the people of its own country gets a loan and subsidy to study abroad. Is this to show that we lost trust on our universities and research, developement ?
4) Slower than a snail It took 6years to hang a team which brutally raped a girl pulling her intestines out. Its said that it takes an eternity to complete all the pending cases in the indian courts. Every problem seems to be on the bench before the judge. If they lie at the same bench for years when will other problems be witnessed? Indian jugement is a quality one, but what if such courts and judges are increased in number?
There are many such problems which are getting piled up in our country everyday. India will be called a developing nation only when people leave corruption and think about every person along with his own family.
Hope it helps you
