Most attractive inherent quality of stone is that each stone is unique, unlike clay. Each naturally made stone can be unique in the sense of shape, color, composition etc.
- Stones are naturally formed over the years by continuous decomposition and degradation by natural factors like wind, rain, snow etc. But clay can be formed within couple of minutes with our preferred composition.
- Stones vary from each other in shapes, color, composition. Some stones are way too precious to be left in the open like the case of mud.
- Again, most of the stones are hard and brittle and can be broken with proper instruments. But, mud is more soft and any shape can be given with proper equipment, which cannot be done in the case of stones.
