Their are 4 types of sentences :

Declarative sentence :  a declarative sentence is a sentence that makes a statement, provides a fact, offers an explanation, or conveys information. For Example : My cat is black  

Imperative sentence :  a sentence that gives an order or command. For Example : Please close the door.

Interrogative sentence : An interrogative sentence is one that asks a direct question and always ends in a question mark. For Example : Who are You?

Exclamatory sentence : An exclamatory sentence conveys a strong emotion and ends with an exclamation mark (!) For Example : Oh my God!
