there are two laws of refraction....
{1}..-> the incident ray , the refracted ray and normal at the point of incidence all lies in the same plane...
{2}..-> it states that the ratio sin of angle of incident and sin of angle of refraction is a constant and equal to ratio of refractive index of second medium to the first medium....it is also known as Snell law.....

Hope you understand...

Hey mate !!

===========

They {\mathsbb{Laws\:of\:Refraction}} are :-

♦ The Incident Ray , the Refracted Ray and the Normal ( the point at which the Incident ray strikes and the Refracted ray emerges ) - all lie in the same plane .

♦ The ratio of the sine of one colour of the angle of incidence to angle of refraction to another colour are made which is called refractive index or constant .

Hope helps !!
