what are the limitations of j.j. thomson's model of the atom?

they can't able to tell about electrons ae moving or not around the nucleus

According to J. J. Thomson of the model the electrons are embedded all over in the positively charged sphere. But experiment done by other scientists showed that the protons are present in the center of the atom and electons are distributed around it.
