Limitation of Ohm's Law. Thelimitations of Ohm's law are explained as follows: This law cannot be applied to unilateral networks. A unilateral network has unilateral elements like diode, transistors, etc., which do not have same voltage current relation for both directions of current.

31shivani: thanks but what does unilateral means?
Simrat11: group
p0r1: Tracing descent from either the paternal or the maternal line only
p0r1: meaning of unilateral

Following are the limitations of Ohm's Law:

For non-linear electrical elements with parameters like capacitance, resistance etc the voltage and current won't be constant with respect to time making it difficult to use Ohm's law.
