according to rutherford atom model electrons revolve around the nucleus in orbit like planets so it is known as planetary model of atom .electrons revolving in circular orbits will not be stable during revolution they experience acceleration. due to acceleration they will lose energy in the form of radiation and fall into nucleus. in such cases atom would be highly un stable and would collapse
