Rutherford said that the electrons of an atom are revolving around the nucleus. Accordingly when an object revolve it must lose its energy and same must happen here. If the electrons lose energy then the atom becomes UNSTABLE . We knew that an atom is a STABLE one and hence whatever Rutherford said was impossible.
Therefore Rutherford didn't explain about the STABILITY of the atom.Hence it is his LIMITATION.

rutherford , in his results , said that electrons revolve in circular orbits. so , according to that , electrons would radiate energy during revolution. after some time they would lose their energy and would fall in nucleus and atom would be destroyed . subsequently , all the atoms would be destroyed and there would be no life . as this is not happening actually , so this was the limitation . he couldn't explain it .
