What are the limitations of the evidences of the past?

Not vivid description and clear description.
The material used was delicate and in fact volatile in nature.the evidences could be altered by persons of powers of that time(king,landlords,merchants).
not easily passed from one person to mass.Generally person to person communication was possible.

no some evidences are found clearly but some of them like during sangam period are in research which could be founded easily . drawings and artifacts are the main evidences
