The main components of body language are:
facial expressions, gestures and posture
What is body language?
- In simple words, we can describe body language as conscious or unconscious movements which describe the inner feelings of a person.
- The posture of a person shows whether we are liking a conversation or not. Our posture will be more towards the speaker when listening with a feeling of enthusiasm or liking.
- Use of gestures such as moving your hands helps to convey your point and hence is an effective part of body language.
- Our facial expression, most importantly our eyes, communicate our feelings in the best way possible without using verbal communication.
