ecosystem may be as small or large and can be of two main types if the ecosystem exit in water bodies such as in an Ocean a lake or even in a puddle it is called an aquatic ecosystem .those that exit on the land are called Terrestrial ecosystem .aquatic ecosystem are of two types freshwater ecosystem and marine water ecosystem .Terrestrial ecosystem can be of various types such as grassland ecosystem forest ecosystem mountain ecosystem and desert ecosystem .
